Postcards from Paris
Contact Information
Revised 8 Mar, 2001

We have made the move from Paris to Houilles, France (a sub-sub-suburb of Paris).  For you Memphians, it's kind of like the Bartlett of the Paris area.  Atlantans, you might consider it a more burby version of downtown Stone Mountain.

If you're trying to reach us by phone, your best bet is to call 9 PM and Midnight Paris time, which is between 3 and 6 PM EST.  BUT CHECK YOUR LONG DISTANCE RATES BEFORE YOU CALL.  Last summer, a clerical error with AT & T tied up over $600 while they sorted out the long distance charges for calls to Paris.  (Contrast an advertised rate of 22 cents/min with the reality of $1.50.min!)  It took over 6 months to sort out, so make sure that your advertised rate is indeed the rate you're paying.

That said, here's the information you're looking for:

VIA TELEPHONE:
From the USA, you should be able to:
Dial 01133139142365
and it should ring our apartment.

But in case it doesn't work with your long distance company or you need to make an operator assisted phone call, our phone number is simply 01.33.14.23.65.

The 011 designates that you're making an international call.
The 33 is the code for Paris.
Drop the "0" in our phone number when dialing internationally.
The remaining numbers (139142365) are what's left of our phone number.

Regular Post (Snailmail)
Throughout our stay, mail can be addressed to us at:

MICHAEL ET KRISTINA MORMINO
16 rue Voltaire
78800
Houilles, France

* Note that the French mail system puts their equivalent of a ZIP code before the city and state.

* Note, also, that mail from the states has been taking about a week and a half to make it here.

So there ya go.  Hope to hear from you soon!

Ciao -

Michael
